Workshop - from depression to vitality, resilience and wellbeing

Although you are in / have undergone professional mental health treatment for depression, you still feel stuck in limbo, self-doubt, fatigue, hopelessness, anxiety and intense emotions. Is this just what your experience of life is now, or do you want more? (about me)
What is a coaching-centred approach? Through guided and positive future-focused work I will facilitate your own journey to uncover and clearly define what it means to you to not be depressed, and you will create an action, reflection and intention-based commitment to change your experience of every day. You will create an upward spiral - to look forward to vitality, optimism and resilience.
The workshop does not intend to replace any other treatment you might be on or need. We will not attempt to diagnose, label or treat any mental or physical condition, dig into your childhood, unpack trauma or decode your past. That is the role of psychotherapy.
The workshop is grounded in the truth that you have the internal resources to create, and that consciousness, behaviour (action) and meaning change the way you be and feel.
How the workshop is facilitated
I will guide the discussion and your self-work through a carefully crafted process of some teaching, coaching questions and tools that encourage self-awareness, unlock personal insights, deepen value and meaning, and drive clear and realistic action and commitment. The work and your outcome is completely personal and private. You will not be asked to share anything you do not comfortably volunteer. After the workshop, I invite you to meet with me and others in a weekly Zoom 90-minute support and encouragement discussion.
Module One - 3 hours
What is depression?
Your experience of depression – what does it look like?
What would not depressed look like and be for you?
The relationship between Behaviour, Thought and Feeling.
Module Two - 3 hours
The concept of my story and the possibility of changing the algorithm.
What reasons do you have to change your experience?
What brings value and meaning to your life?
Module Three - 3 hours
Exploring consciousness, mindfulness, emotion, thought and behaviour.
Module Four – 3 hours
Key concepts to grasp and use – acceptance, staying in the Observer Seat, equanimity,
non-attachment, intention.
Module Five - 3 hours
Identifying high-value and meaningful behaviours.
Creating your own programme of action and conscious routine.
Module 6 - 2 hours
Moving forward into a different experience.
Weekly facilitated online discussion (Zoom) with a community of people sharing your experience (for as long as you want to participate).

The fee for the 6 modules is Free (This is the inaugural workshop, so I am not charging a fee. There will be a fee for future workshops) This includes participation in the workshop, materials, and participation in a weekly online Zoom community of people choosing a different experience. If you fully commit to the process and are genuinely doing the work, and believe this process is not working or is not right for you, I will refund your full fee. |
